How to import a crosshair code in CS2
- Open Counter-Strike 2 and go to Settings → Game → Crosshair.
- Select Share or Import.
- Copy the crosshair share code from a FRAG WATCH pro settings profile, paste it and confirm the import.
- Enter a practice server to check the result on bright and dark backgrounds.
A share code covers the crosshair, not mouse DPI, video options or a player's entire configuration. Those settings must be adjusted separately.
Find the right professional player's setup
Start with our CS2 pro crosshair directory, which currently lists 65 players. Open a profile for its share code, a preview derived from the code, mouse settings and other recorded preferences. Every listed setting is a dated snapshot, not a live reading of the player's game.
Popular starting points: ZywOo crosshair and settings, donk crosshair and settings, m0NESY crosshair and settings and XANTARES crosshair and settings.
DPI, sensitivity and eDPI are different
DPI describes mouse movement sensitivity at the sensor level. In-game sensitivity multiplies the movement in CS2. eDPI = DPI × in-game sensitivity is a convenient way to compare the two settings together.
For example, 400 DPI × 2.0 sensitivity and 800 DPI × 1.0 sensitivity both equal 800 eDPI. Matching eDPI does not guarantee an identical feel if your mouse, polling rate, acceleration, physical space or other conditions differ.
Should you copy a pro's crosshair exactly?
Use a professional crosshair as a tested starting point, not a promise of better aim. Crosshair visibility depends on your display resolution, background, color preferences and how easily you can keep track of its center. Try the imported code first, then change size, thickness, gap or color only if needed.
For a more complete setup, compare the player's viewmodel and video settings on their individual profile. Older launch options can be obsolete, so do not assume every shared command still affects the current CS2 build.
Frequently asked questions
Does importing a crosshair change mouse sensitivity?
No. Crosshair import changes crosshair settings, not your DPI or in-game sensitivity.
Are professional crosshair codes updated live?
No. FRAG WATCH shows dated source snapshots. Check each player's page for the recorded observation date.
Where can I copy a ZywOo or donk crosshair?
Open the ZywOo settings or donk settings page and use the copy control.
Source note: player settings are dated snapshots, not live game configuration or a performance guarantee.
