Account Privacy Notice.

Last updated: 27 October 2026. This notice describes the FRAG WATCH account feature and is not a substitute for the terms of third-party services.

What we store

If you sign up, the account database stores your chosen Frag Watch nickname, email address, account creation date, a unique random account identifier, and a password verifier derived from your password with a unique salt. If you connect FACEIT using its official authorization service, we store the FACEIT player ID returned by that authorized flow, your FACEIT nickname, the verification date and the most recent account profile update time. OAuth authorization tokens and FACEIT passwords are not retained in our database. The password itself is not stored. Sessions use a secure HttpOnly cookie containing an unpredictable token; the database stores only a cryptographic hash of that token and its expiry.

How the account works

These records are used to create your account, authenticate you and manage active sessions. We temporarily store hashed request identifiers and attempt counts to rate-limit suspicious signup and login attempts. The public FACEIT statistics tools remain available without an account. A typed FACEIT nickname or public statistics lookup does not verify ownership. Only an authorization completed on FACEIT can establish a verified FRAG WATCH account link. One FACEIT player ID cannot be linked to multiple FRAG WATCH accounts.

PRO AI Performance Coach beta

If you choose to run the private AI Performance Coach, FRAG WATCH retrieves up to 30 available recent FACEIT match summaries for your verified, linked account. We store aggregate assessment values (sample size, Elo, K/D, ADR, win rate, provisional Impact and Consistency), a coaching focus and short generated guidance, timestamps, minimal recent match identifiers and comparison-window summaries to verify new matches, your chosen CS2 role, completed training tasks and any numerical goals you save in Cloudflare D1. The coach retains no more than 40 analysis snapshots per account. These are saved observations starting with your first use, not retrospective match history. For AI responses, numerical aggregates and selected map summaries are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI; account email, password, session token, FACEIT ID and nickname are not included in the model prompt. If AI inference is unavailable, we clearly label deterministic rules-based guidance instead. Questions you optionally type into the AI Coach are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for a response, but are not retained as a chat transcript in FRAG WATCH D1. You can stop using the feature at any time. Unlinking FACEIT deletes your saved coach assessments and goals; account deletion also deletes them.

Level benchmarks and ELO history

When a public FACEIT profile is analyzed on FRAG WATCH, we save one snapshot per day for that FACEIT player ID: FACEIT level, ELO, ADR, K/D, headshot % and win rate. No FRAG WATCH account, email or IP address is attached. These snapshots build the ELO history shown for that profile and the level averages, which are only shown once at least 20 different players at a level have been analyzed. Snapshots older than 400 days are deleted.

Squad and weekly summary email

If you add friends on the Squad page, we store their FACEIT player ID and nickname under your account so we can show your weekly ranking; these are public FACEIT profiles and your friends do not need an account. The weekly summary email is off unless you turn it on. When it is on, we keep daily FACEIT snapshots (level, ELO and match averages) for you and the friends in your list to calculate ELO change, and email you every Monday. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and removing a friend or deleting your account removes the list.

Anonymous site analytics and private administration

To understand traffic, FRAG WATCH records the current public page path, date, pageview count, and a SHA-256 hash of a randomly generated temporary browser-tab session identifier. This identifier lives only in session storage, is not a login ID, is not stored as plain text on the server, and is cleared when the tab session ends. For country reporting, we also store the two-letter country code provided by Cloudflare and an aggregate daily pageview count for that country; this country count is not linked to the browser-session hash. The analytics table does not contain visitors' IP addresses, emails, FACEIT details, or names. Records are kept for approximately 90 days. Requests are not sent by this first-party tracker when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. Approximate session counts do not represent unique people, and older traffic cannot be reconstructed. On fragwatch.gg, Cloudflare Web Analytics may additionally collect aggregated website performance and visitor counts under Cloudflare's service practices. A private founders-only dashboard may display registered accounts' username, email, signup time and linked FACEIT nickname to authorized site owners.

FACEIT Radar browser extension

The Frag Watch – FACEIT Radar extension runs only on www.faceit.com match room pages. To show stats it sends the FRAG WATCH API (firewatch-api.firewatch-plexuss.workers.dev) the match ID from the page address and the public FACEIT player IDs or nicknames of the players in that room. To show encounters it reads your own FACEIT nickname from the profile link FACEIT shows in its menu and looks up your public match history. It does not read or send your FACEIT password, cookies, chat messages, browsing history or any other page. Your settings (switches and the map positions you type) are saved in your browser with Chrome storage and synced only through your own Chrome profile; the extension also remembers which match rooms it already posted a map position to. Player notes you write are saved only in your browser (Chrome storage) and are never sent to FRAG WATCH or anyone else. For the friends list it sends your own public FACEIT player ID to the FRAG WATCH API, which reads your public FACEIT friends list and their public nickname, country, ELO and level. For Today's ELO the extension sends your own public FACEIT player ID to the FRAG WATCH API, which reads your recent matches from FACEIT's public match statistics. To measure anonymous usage, the extension creates a random installation ID stored in Chrome storage and sends it with the match ID and version when you open a match room. Updated builds repeat that signal about every two minutes while the match room remains active. The server stores a one-way hash of the installation ID, the UTC day, match ID and version for up to 90 days, and a separate last-seen timestamp for approximately 24 hours to estimate installations recently active in match rooms. These records contain no IP address, FACEIT ID, email or nickname. Auto Accept and Map Positions act only on the FACEIT page you have open and only when you turn them on. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising or attach it to a FRAG WATCH account; these requests carry no account, email or name of yours.

Service providers and device data

Account operations run on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1, which process and store the related data. Standard internet access metadata may be processed by infrastructure providers for security and delivery. We do not use the account system to collect payment details or enable paid memberships.

Account deletion and limits

You can delete your account using the Account Settings panel after signing in and confirming your password. This removes the account and its login sessions. We email a one-time link to confirm your address after signup, and a one-time password reset link (valid for 1 hour) when you ask for one. Only a hash of each link token is stored, and used or expired tokens are deleted. Emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service. You control FACEIT linking in My Account and can disconnect your FACEIT identity at any time. We remove its saved ID, nickname and verification date when you disconnect. The authorization flow temporarily uses a one-time security state and a PKCE verifier, both deleted after use or expiration. Deleting your account also removes the saved FACEIT identity.
